Hello, Spring! After a year stuck at home, it's more than time for a refresh. Every spring, our social media feeds are full of spring cleaning and refresh ideas that, honestly, can be so overwhelming. Who really has the time and patience for a full-on deep cleaning, reorganization, and/or redecorating?
Rather, we're all about small changes, pops of spring color, and delicious, uncomplicated recipes for celebrating the season. From cheeseboard and cocktails, to decor styling, we hope these ideas help you make your own spring statement at home.
Spring Cheese Board
Cheeses: Blueberry Stilton (Whole Foods), Dill Havarti (Trader Joe's), Manchego, Brie, Ricotta topped with honey
Dips: green goddess dip (store-bought from Trader Joe's), raspberry jam
Meats: proscuitto, salami
Fruits & veggies: grapes, raspberries, blueberries, dried sweetened orange slices, cucumbers, radishes, sugar snap peas
Crunch: crackers, yogurt covered pretzels, pistachios
Garnish: herbs, edible flowers
Easter Sweets Spread
Celebrating Easter at home calls for a tray filled with sweets. Our picks: mini carrot cakes and macarons both from Trader Joe's (no baking required...yes please), Peeps bunnies, Easter jelly beans.
p.s. we recently discovered these Belvoir organic Elderflower Lemonade and we can't recommend them enough! They look and taste like spring in a bottle.
Remember this one for Mother's Day! Your mom will thank you. Refreshing, slightly sweet, and just three steps.
- Fill glasses halfway with Watermelon-Cucumber Juice. We love Trader Joe's "Watermelon-Cucumber Cooler" - comes back into their stores later this season
- Fill the rest of the glass with Champagne, leaving about an inch at the top
- Top them off with a splash of St. Germain (elderflower liqueur)
We might not be travelling to Paris this spring, but we can bring that Parisian feeling into our homes. Serve champagne and garnish with fresh raspberries. Pair with colorful macaroons for something sweet. Our toile print on this insert is the final touch to create that classic French feeling.
Farmer's Market Finds
Treat yourself to a trip to the Farmer's Market for fresh spring produce and blooms. We love using our tray to display the week's produce, baked treats (we can never resist) and fresh flowers.
Our tip: mix fresh flowers with eucalyptus for an amazing aroma.
Coffee Table Refresh
Create a classic spring moment on your tray with a bouquet of flowers. Mix a variety of flowers in your favorite spring color (we are loving pink this spring...as if you coudn't already tell) along with white babies breath. Finish off the look with a candle and a decorative piece.
Organize your bedroom essentials like candles, diffusers, masks, decorative storage container, etc. alongside dried flowers (low maintenance), beautiful books, and your fav decorative pieces. Our acrylic tray helps organize it all, and the toile print on our insert creates a chic, refined look.
